About us

CollectableThings is a name that grew out of a hobby. For 40 years I have had a fascination with antiques and old consumer goods. In the early years I was able to build up a knowledge of antique clocks from home. Now, 40 years later, it has become a broad hobby for anything with a history. I've developed a nose for finding the "gems" among the vast array.
Every week I scour all sorts of markets and shops looking for unusual things. I am always amazed that people part with special things.
